Better Decisions Through Critical Thinking
1/2 Day Workshop
WORKSHOP OVERVIEW:
It's true: Organizations can make terrible decisions. Opportunities are lost, money is wasted on useless initiatives; the list goes on and on. How does this happen? How do intelligent people end up making such poor choices? In too many cases, the culprit is simply a lack of effective analysis. It is easy to fall under the spell of an argument that sounds convincing and yet, properly scrutinized, is found to be full of holes. The good news is that there is a defense against poor decisions: Critical Thinking. Anyone interested in learning about how to make effective decisions, how to see through the fog of emotional arguments, and how to be more effective during discussions will benefit from this workshop. Participants will learn how to:
- Differentiate between critical and non-critical thinking
